What is a disposable email address?

A disposable (or temporary / throwaway) email address is a short-lived inbox from services like Mailinator, Guerrilla Mail or Temp-Mail. People use them to sign up without revealing a real address, which makes them common in fake registrations, free-trial abuse and low-quality lead lists.

How does the checker decide if a domain is disposable?

It compares the domain against a bundled list of around 200 known disposable providers, including sub-domains. If there is no exact match, a soft heuristic looks for throwaway-style words in the domain name (temp, trash, fake, disposable and similar) and flags it separately as a "heuristic suspect" for manual review.

Is my list of emails uploaded to a server?

No. The domain list ships with the tool and every check runs in JavaScript inside your browser. Nothing you type — single addresses or bulk lists — is ever sent, uploaded or stored. You can even use it offline once the page has loaded.

Can it guarantee an email is real or deliverable?

No. This is a filtering aid, not a mailbox-verification service. It tells you whether an address looks disposable and whether its syntax is valid, but it does not connect to the mail server to confirm the inbox exists. Use it to reduce obvious junk, then rely on a confirmation email for delivery.

Why check domains I have never seen on the known list?
