    Frequently asked questions

    What are UTM parameters?
UTM parameters are tags added to a URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) that tell Google Analytics where your traffic came from. They let you measure which channels and campaigns actually drive visits and sales.
Do UTM values need to be lowercase?
UTM values are case-sensitive in Analytics, so "Facebook" and "facebook" show up as two different sources and split your data. Keeping everything lowercase avoids that. The force-lowercase option handles Latin text and leaves Thai untouched.
Can I use Thai text in UTM parameters?
Yes. Thai values are percent-encoded automatically so the link works everywhere. The tool shows both the encoded URL to copy and a readable preview, so you can confirm the Thai text is correct.
What happens to parameters already in my URL?
Any existing query parameters and the #fragment are kept. If your URL already contains UTM tags, the tool warns you and overwrites only those UTM values with the new ones you enter.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. The whole tool runs in your browser with JavaScript, and your recent URLs are stored only in this browser. Nothing is uploaded.
