Frequently asked questions

Is my data sent to your server?
No. QR codes are generated entirely in your browser with JavaScript. The URL, text or Wi-Fi password you enter never leaves your device and is never logged.
Does the Wi-Fi QR code work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It uses the standard WIFI: format that both iOS and Android cameras recognise. Point the camera at the code and tap the prompt to join the network — no typing the password.
Can I put Thai text or emoji in a QR code?
Yes. Text is encoded in UTF-8 byte mode, so Thai characters and emoji are stored correctly. Note that a few older scanner apps may not display non-ASCII text properly, even though the code itself is valid.
What size and error-correction level should I use?
For screens, 256–512 px is plenty; for print, use 1024 px or the SVG. Error correction M (~15%) is a good default; raise it to Q or H only if you plan to overlay a logo, since higher levels make the code denser.
Why did I get a low-contrast warning?
Scanners rely on a clear difference between the dark and light modules. If your foreground and background colours are too close (below a 3:1 ratio) or you invert them (light on dark), many cameras will fail to read the code.
