Timer, Stopwatch & Pomodoro
Three timing tools in one clean page: a countdown timer for cooking, workouts or presentations, a stopwatch with lap splits for training and testing, and a Pomodoro timer that cycles focus and break sessions to help you study or work. It runs entirely in your browser with no sign-up, plays a beep when time is up, and can show a desktop notification so you never miss the end of a session.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Pomodoro Technique?
It is a time-management method that breaks work into focused intervals (traditionally 25 minutes) separated by short breaks, with a longer break after a set number of rounds. The alternating focus and rest periods help you concentrate and avoid burnout. This tool lets you keep the classic 25/5/15 setup or change every value to suit you.
Will the timer keep running if I switch browser tabs?
Yes, the timer keeps counting while you are on other tabs, and it uses your device clock so the remaining time stays accurate even if the tab is throttled in the background. For the most reliable beep and notification, keep this page open rather than closing it.
Why is there no sound when the timer finishes?
The beep uses the Web Audio API, which browsers only allow after you interact with the page. Because you press Start yourself, the sound normally works. If you still hear nothing, check that the beep option is ticked, that your device is not muted, and that the browser tab is not muted.
How do desktop notifications work?
When you tick the notification option, your browser asks for permission to show notifications. If you allow it, a small message appears when a countdown or Pomodoro session ends, even if this tab is in the background. You can revoke the permission any time in your browser site settings.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing you enter is uploaded, and there is no account or tracking of your timers.
Can I use it as a study or workout timer?
Absolutely. Use the countdown for fixed-length tasks like an exercise interval or a tea steep, the stopwatch with laps for running or rep timing, and Pomodoro for study or deep-work sessions.
